The Souk International 2011, will be hosted by the Al-Ansaar Foundation, for the 14th consecutive year. The event is noted for the phenomenal response it receives from the exhibitors, traders and the general public. Visitors comprise of locals, tourists and nationals encompassing the ethnic, religious and cultural diversity. The show is the largest of its kind in Durban, epitomizing the culturally diverse nature of the city and its inhabitants.

Increasingly, during the last five years international exhibitors and traders have participated in the Souk, encouraging the organisers to create International Pavilions. Theme pavilions allow small to medium enterprises and corporate business to reap the benefits of the large scale spending spree that takes place. A Funfair and other rides will once again be present to ensure that young and old are entertained.
